Simon is responsible for overseeing KPMG’s tax support to clients in the Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare sectors in the UK. Simon is a corporate tax specialist, but he is ultimately responsible for the delivery of multi-disciplinary tax advice to clients incorporating VAT, People Services and SDLT guidance, in addition to wider international tax considerations.

For over 15 years, Simon has specialised in advising a broad spectrum of universities, housing associations, charities, local government organisations and NHS health trusts across the South, Wales and London regions.

As well as ensuring his clients fulfil their corporate tax filing obligations in a practical and robust manner, Simon also provides pragmatic, commercial tax advice on a variety of relevant sector projects including:

  • International expansion opportunities, and increasingly,
  • Ensuring that public and private collaborations are structured in a tax efficient manner whilst achieving all parties commercial objectives.
