Rebecca is a Director and Head of the Trade & Customs team for KPMG in the UK. She leads a team of over 20 professionals based in London, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. Rebecca delivers cross-border solutions to the issues facing the firm’s clients, working closely with other tax and supply chain colleagues, and our global network of customs and excise specialists.

Rebecca has over 15 years’ experience in Trade & Customs. She started her career at HMRC where she was involved in the review of customs procedures and the documentary audit control of major importers, including those in the engineering and manufacturing industry. She is also familiar with broader food health regulations from her time as a Plant Health & Seeds Inspector and Marine Enforcement Officer.

Rebecca specialises in optimising the customs duty position of companies involved in international trade. More recently she has been focused on helping clients plan for brexit, by optimising their customs systems, processes and restructuring supply chains.  She has experience in the design and implementation of software solutions to manage customs special procedures, such as customs warehousing, and supporting clients to secure AEO accreditations.
