Philip leads KPMG New Zealand's Cyber Security and Technology Risk practices. He has over 20 years' practical experience in the provision of IT security advisory and assurance, IT risk management and IT internal audit throughout New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. Philip’s detailed security knowledge is wide ranging, and he is a specialist in areas such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, PCI DSS compliance, data leakage, security frameworks, physical security, and computer forensics. Philip’s detailed IT security and controls knowledge is complemented by his auditing, internal audit and fraud background, which assists him in understanding the business issues related to IT, and the development of practical solutions to issues.
