Caren Donald

Caren is an Associate Director and leads the Immigration team at KPMG. She has over 13 years of experience as an immigration adviser and has held a full licence with the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) since 2009. Caren’s main focus is on temporary and residence visa applications for corporate organisations, having worked closely with many prominent New Zealand employers across a range of sectors.

In 2020 Caren was selected to be on the IAA’s reference group, which was an honour for Caren being able to be a ‘voice’ in the industry. Caren has also previously supervised three provisional licence holders and guided them successfully towards obtaining their full licence.

Caren brings a ‘layer of empathy’ to her assistance, having relocated countries twice herself. As a result, Caren has a good understanding of the stresses and strains that relocating can put on a family. She is passionate about New Zealand and considers it to be her forever home. Caren is always happy to give her advice on where to live, schools, the culture and life in New Zealand in general.
