Mathew Scott

Mat has provided tax services to clients for over 23 years and prior to joining KPMG Ireland in 2014 worked for KPMG UK. Mat particularly focuses on inbound investment into the UK and has worked with a number of private equity houses/venture capital firms, family offices and multinationals. He advises on all aspects of their investments including due diligence, tax structuring, refinancing and sell side advice. In the past year he has also advised extensively on the UK’s Diverted Profits Tax. Mat has advised clients across a range of sectors but has wide ranging experience in the healthcare sector having had clients in the sector for nearly 20 years. He also has significant experience in the food/manufacturing and property sectors.
