Jim leads KPMG's Real Estate practice in Ireland which deals with all tax and accounting aspects of Irish real estate acquisition, retention and disposal. Jim is tax partner and has advised many of the firm's leading clients on real estate matters. Jim has been involved in the floatation of several new public companies, the development of the Irish REIT regime and the structuring of €bn's of real estate transactions on behalf of foreign and Irish investors, including various debt acquisition transactions.

Jim is also significantly involved in the Biotech/Pharma sector where he advises key public and private companies, and their owner shareholders. Jim specialises in helping Irish headquartered groups to structure their international operations and is highly experienced at mergers, acquisitions and spin out transactions.
