Prior to joining KPMG in 1998, Therese was a legal counsel at a Swiss bank. Until February 2022 she advised Swiss and foreign corporate clients and individuals in various aspects of business law. Her key areas of experience are corporate law, capital markets, employee participation and contract law. Therese was responsible for the legal part of numerous review body engagements in public takeovers and also drafted offer prospectuses.

She was involved in various listing projects as issuer of the technical legal opinion as well as prospectus drafter and reviewer, and she led engagements relating to delisting and change of regulatory standard. Moreover, Therese acted as the co-organizer of several client workshops on compliance with stock exchange rules.

She has published various articles and blog articles on corporate and capital market related topics. Therese is also the co-author of KPMG publications on company law, collective investments schemes, corporate governance and executive remuneration.

Since March 2022 Therese has been working part-time as an attorney-at-law at KPMG Switzerland's Office of the General Counsel.
