Nick is a Partner in KPMG’s Internal Audit and Risk Compliance Services practice. Nick leads our “Board Grip” services to public sector clients in Canada which includes our governance, risk and internal audit services, focused on improving how Boards and Senior Management get assurance their organization is meeting its objectives. Nick is trained and certified in our Lean In Audit approach which is applied to internal audit services.

Nick transferred to KPMG Canada from our UK firm in 2015. His outsourced internal audit clients in the healthcare sector include SickKids, University Health Network and Sinai Health System. He also works with various government and related organizations including Cancer Care Ontario and the City of Oshawa. In the UK, his audit clients included the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, Oxleas, Royal Marsden Hospital and University Hospital Southampton. In addition he worked on a range of higher education institutions including University College London and Imperial College London.

  • Chartered Accountant (CPFA – UK)

  • Nick is currently the Chair of the Government Relations Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

  • Nick was a trustee on the Board of War Child UK.

  • Nick has since volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House Toronto.
