Paul’s focus is to work with his clients to improve the reporting, governance and operations of finance functions and he works across the financial services, government and corporate sectors.

In 2002, Paul joined KPMG and since this time has been involved in a wide range of advisory, audit and assurance engagements. He was promoted to Partner in 2015 in our Finance Advisory group in Melbourne.

Key engagements Paul has worked on include:

  • Leading a large team to develop all the new regulatory returns for a major Australian bank to submit to the regulator as part of the Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS) Program. Project also including developing target operating model and developing the controls and governance around the new regulatory returns. 
  • Completed a 7-month secondment to a government agency as Acting Chief Financial Officer.
  • Completed a review of finance functions at a corporate client to improve efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes relating to both statutory and month end reporting. 
  • Established and ran a finance function for a new entity which was set up as result of a sale of government business.
