Jacinta Munro

Partner, Risk Assurance

KPMG Australia

When Jacinta left a quiet farm in Northern Victoria to go to boarding school, she never dreamed that she would become a high-profile Partner at KPMG and would lead complex regulatory change programs in both Australia and Europe.

Now Jacinta leads KPMG’s Compliance to Performance practice and brings both local and global insights into emerging risks and trends across industries such as financial services, retail energy, tertiary education, manufacturing and gaming. The major focus of Jacinta’s role is the practical business impacts of regulatory change, often requiring the design and delivery of specialist compliance tools and programs.

Jacinta is an experienced Partner who has acted as the appointed Independent Expert on numerous occasions across a range of industries for regulators including ASIC, APRA, the OAIC and the ACCC. She works closely with her clients to achieve sustainable outcomes, enduring compliance and stakeholder benefits.

Jacinta is regularly called upon to present to boards and at conferences about emerging regulatory issues, changes in regulation and market trends. She offers unique insights into how organisations manage their portfolios of risk and compliance obligations.

Home is a household of boys, so Jacinta keeps fit with numerous trips to the park and many hours of football, cricket, swimming and golf.
