David leads KPMG Tasmania's Enterprise Advisory practice, and has expertise in multi-stage, complex transformational program risk management, business process re-design and digitisation.

David has more than 16 years' consulting experience in Tasmania, predominantly within state government agencies, a further 5 years experience in a senior executive role within a listed company and over 10 years experience as a member and chair of boards and risk committees.

Prior to joining KPMG, he was appointed CFO of MyState Limited, an ASX 300 Listed Company, responsible for group strategy, finance, investor and shareholder relations, being project sponsor and steering committee member for a major digital transformation program.

David was the lead partner for the Risk Advisory practice in Deloitte Tasmania for 8 years, providing program risk management advice, process and control review and re-engineering to a broad range of state government agencies, government business enterprises and state-owned companies within Tasmania.

David is passionate about organisational and digital transformation and change. Having served as both an advisor and within roles responsible for program oversight and delivery, and is particularly passionate about programs that are designed and executed with the end customer in mind, whilst having a keen eye to carefully balancing the risks and rewards inherent in such large undertakings.
