Our client is a property & retail company with a mixed portfolio of property investment in Hong Kong and overseas.

• Report to the C level
• Newly created position to support the strategic development of the company
• Lead the set up of the internal legal function
• Oversee the co-operation of external counsels
• Oversee and work closely with the legal team on all legal aspects of the company's property & retail businesses and transactions
• Ensure the company complies with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Review relevant documentation and lead potential negotiations

• A qualified HK lawyer with corporate and commercial experience
• At least 8 years' PQE gained from firms or in-house in property & retail related discipline
• Sound and relevant experience in property & retail business, a team player with a mature mindset Ability to work independently and under tight timelines
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
