KPMG’s Edward Middleton, Fergal Power and Kris Beighton have been appointed by the High Court of Hong Kong as Joint and Several Provisional Liquidators of China Fishery Group Limited (the “Company”, SGX: B0Z.SI) and China Fisheries International Limited (a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of the Company incorporated in Samoa) in Hong Kong with effect from 25 November 2015.

The Company, listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the sourcing, harvesting, processing and delivery of fish globally.

Fergal Power, a partner at KPMG China and one of the Joint Provisional Liquidators, says: “Our role as provisional liquidators is to seek to preserve and protect the Company’s assets. It is our intention that the Group’s major operations will continue as normal while we continue to assess options.”
