China’s 2022 Two Sessions were successfully held in Beijing during the period from 4–11 March 2022. During the meetings, the government emphasised the importance of stability, and called for additional macro-policy support to promote the stable growth of the macroeconomy. Policymakers at the Two Sessions also stressed the importance of structural reforms in areas such as technology innovation, decarbonisation, regional coordination, and higher-level opening-up, etc.
