Through 2018 to the first half of 2019, the securities sector is experiencing increased volatility and polarisation, which resulted in the changing of industry ecosystem. Against this backdrop, securities companies are actively exploring transformation.
This report is the 13th annual Mainland China Securities Survey published by KPMG. It provides an overview of the performance of 131 securities companies operating in China based on the 2018 financial statements published by the Securities Association of China. The report also analyses a number of key trends in the securities sector.
