China Tax Alert - Issue 7, April 2015
China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) initialled the text of the China-ROK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which is scheduled to be signed within the first half of this year. We suggest companies to closely monitor developments and policies relating to the FTA, review their list of goods (for import and export) as well as the relevant contracts to be more familiar with the status of their trade in goods. In addition, it is important for companies to train their customs staff or build an internal team to study and work on how they could benefit from this FTA.
