Moving on: priorities and responsibilities

KPMG CIMA Joint Webinar

KPMG CIMA Joint Webinar

15:00 – 16:30, 21 October 2021

KPMG and the CIMA will highlight best practice and transformation suggestions in Governance, Treasury and ESG to help organisations be both responsible and viable.

The last 12 months have brought significant changes with the acceleration of digitisation, flexible working arrangements and organisations questioning if profit is the sole objective of a business’s existence. Managing risk, capital, and social responsibility are three important areas that are quickly moving to the top of the agenda for CFOs and finance professionals.

KPMG and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) are very pleased to once again co-host a webinar on Thursday, 21 October 2021 at 3 p.m. We will explore:

  • Board Governance & Risk Management,
  • Treasury Transformation, and
  • Environmental & Social Governance.

The webinar will be followed by a panel discussion.

Alva Lee, Risk Management Partner of KPMG, will share insights on Board Governance in an ever-changing world. Tatjana Schaefer, Director and Head of Treasury Solutions of KPMG, will discuss the changing role of Treasury and Treasury Transformation. Kirsten Mundy, Associate Director and Head of ESG Implementation Services of KPMG, will share insights and challenges related to creating and executing an ESG strategy, including building a business case for ESG.

Arinjoy Dhar, FCMA and head of Operational Excellence of HSBC Hong Kong, will also join the panel, which will be moderated by Stephen Walsh from KPMG.
