Webinar: 23 – 25 March 2021

Webinar: 23 – 25 March 2021

23 – 25 March 2021

Indirect taxes and indirect tax professionals are both set to play an increasingly important role in a post pandemic world: whether it’s an expectation of new forms of indirect taxes to fund government deficits incurred during the pandemic (such as digital taxes, environmental taxes or specific turnover taxes); whether it’s in the leading-edge role played by indirect tax professionals in tax transformation; or, finally, whether it’s in the modernisation or reforms to indirect tax systems themselves (such as e-invoicing or blockchain technology); it’s clear that we all need to prepare for this new reality.

The 2021 KPMG Virtual Global Indirect Tax Conference will be a unique opportunity to gain big-picture insights from a range of subject matter experts as to the future of indirect taxes in the wake of COVID-19 and some of the ways in which indirect tax leaders are adapting to the new reality. Importantly, it will be a highly interactive event, helping ensure that you get every opportunity to learn, challenge and contribute.

All sessions will be held live through our interactive platform to ensure we maximize your opportunity to contribute. Sessions will generally be held around lunchtime onwards in European time zones, morning in the East Coast of North America, and evening in the Asia Pacific region.

The conference program will include:

  • Futurist views on the evolving business environment and predictions for the longer-term trends affecting indirect taxes emerging as a result of present conditions.
  • A look at the future of indirect tax compliance, including trends in e-invoicing, real-time reporting, data management and more.
  • Insights into the ways in which indirect tax teams are transforming, including evolving their sourcing models, technologies and processes in response to the challenges of the current environment.
