Hong Kong is economically connected with substantial markets in close proximity. A significant proportion of the city's economic activity is linked to Greater China – and within that the Greater Bay Area (GBA) – as well as the ASEAN region. In the coming decade, Hong Kong's ability to maximise the benefits of cooperation with the rest of the GBA and ASEAN will impact its own goals for development as a smart city.

In this webinar you will take a deep dive into the factors for enhancing economic cooperation with the rest of the GBA and ASEAN to promote mutual smart and sustainable development. Alan Yau, Partner, Audit, KPMG China will share highlights from recent white paper, Future Hong Kong 2030, published in cooperation with CLP, Cyberport, HKBN JOS, Smart City Consortium, Siemens, Weave Co-Living and Wilson Group. The report analyses the factors shaping Hong Kong's smart city transformation over the next ten years and looks at how enhanced regional economic connectivity can help Hong Kong achieve its smart city goals.
