International Financial Reporting Standard 16, Leases, will become effective for accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2019. It is going to result in significant impact on the accounting for leases, in particular by lessees.
In this presentation, we will share the implementation challenges brought about by this new accounting standard. It is also our pleasure to have Victor Piñeiro, Group Chief Financial Officer of Nomos One joining us at the event and to share insights on how a lease management and lease accounting platform can help in the implementation of the new standard. Our partner, Sanel Tomlinson will also join the discussion.
