Jessica is well-versed in KPMG’s internal audit and risk management methodologies and has a wide range of risk advisory experiences, including assisting clients in conducting risk assessment, providing internal audit co-sourcing services, setting up risk management and internal control frameworks and providing advisory assistance to facilitate client’s compliance with corporate governance laws and regulations.

As the Risk Consulting Partner, Jessica has extensive experience in assisting directors and top management to understand how to improve corporate governance and internal controls of an organization.  She has undertaken a wide spectrum of assignments across banking and other financial institutions, in which, as driven by regulatory requirements or to satisfy client’s management needs, she assisted clients in reviewing existing internal control and risk management frameworks, examining existing processes, identifying key risks and controls, establishing internal control assessment procedures and tools, executing control assessment or internal audit, and establishing strategic plan for process and control enhancement.  She also focuses on assisting clients establishing three lines of defence, setting roles and responsibilities and implementing practical tools and methods.

Jessica is a regular speaker on a number of core issues associated risk management and internal controls.  She was ever invited by China Banking Regulatory Commission and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission to deliver lectures to financial organizations and enterprises on hot topics related to internal control, risk management and internal audit.
