Since 1993, Khoon Ming has been actively involved in advising both foreign and domestic Chinese investors in respect of their investments and operations in China. Khoon Ming has worked in different parts of China including Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and has built up strong relationship with tax officials at both local and state levels. Khoon Ming has also advised the Budgetary Affairs Committee under the National People's Congress of China on post-WTO tax reform. Khoon Ming is also actively participating in government consultation projects ranging from tax treaty enforcement, tax compliance agreements, VAT reform and BEPS. He is a frequent speaker at tax seminars and workshops for clients and the public, and an active contributor to throught leadership on tax issues. Khoon Ming has been recognized by World Tax as a leading China tax advisor since 2006.
