CEO Stefan Pfister has been reelected for another four-year term. The overwhelming backing of the Partners underlines their trust in Stefan Pfister’s leadership and his commitment to guide KPMG Switzerland on the path of further growth. At the same time, Helen Campbell was newly elected to the Board of Directors.

Stefan Pfister, who has been CEO of KPMG Switzerland since 2014, has been reelected by an overwhelming majority for another four-year term. Joining KPMG Switzerland in 2005, he occupied several key executive positions, including Head of Real Estate and Head of Deal Advisory before joining the Executive Committee in 2011 as Head of Advisory. “I am honored by the trust put in me by KPMG Switzerland’s Partnership and thankful for their continued support. I am proud of what we have achieved so far and excited to lead our firm to further growth and provide an environment for our people to thrive”, he commented on his reelection.

Helen Campbell joins the Board of Directors

The Partners of KPMG also elected a new member of the Board of Directors. Helen Campbell replaces Tobias Valk who stepped down from the Board of Directors in July 2021 to take over as Head of Advisory and join KPMG Switzerland’s Executive Committee.

Helen Campbell has been with KPMG for 22 years and has proven experience in leading audits and advisory engagements as Lead Partner for multinational clients in the financial sector – first in UK and then in Australia before moving to Switzerland. Helen has in-depth knowledge of the breadth of KPMG’s multidisciplinary services and therefore a 360° perspective on KPMG’s strengths. As a new member of the Board of Directors, she will bring this vast expertise and knowledge.

Hélène Béguin, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at KPMG Switzerland, said: “The Board of Directors and myself are very much looking forward to working with Helen. Her experience is an invaluable addition to the present expertise and skills. With Stefan Pfister as CEO we ensure continuity and reliability for our people and clients and continue on our growth path. In addition, the newly configured Board of Directors brings together the diverse and complementary skills and experience needed to support KPMG Switzerland in our future challenges.” The election of Helen Campbell also marks another historic milestone in establishing gender parity at KPMG.
