Gernot Zitter is a Partner in KPMG’s Corporate and M&A Tax practice. Gernot has extensive experience in managing and executing national and international tax due diligence and tax structuring mandates for corporate and private equity clients. He also advises on pre-closing carve-outs, tax reorganizations and restructurings, financing and post-closing integrations.
Gernot has over 15 years’ experience as an advisor in the professional services industry and started his career in Vienna working for several major law firms.
He lecturs on corporate and international tax at the University of Lucerne, the University of Zurich and Swiss tax seminars. And regularly publishes articles on national and international corporate tax matters in tax journals.
