Hans-Dieter Krauss

Hans-Dieter Krauss holds a degree in business administration, is a German certified public accountant as well as a tax consultant. He is licensed as an audit expert in Switzerland. He studied business administration at the University of Bayreuth.

His professional experience includes the cross-industry auditing of annual and consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with German commercial law, US GAAP or IFRS. His work focuses on supporting industrial companies with international operations.

Hans-Dieter has been with KPMG since 1990. During this time, he has served clients across various industries from offices in Stuttgart, Detroit, Mannheim and Frankfurt, with the last five years serving as Audit Partner at KPMG Switzerland.

Since 1 October 2023, Hans-Dieter is the Head of National Risk Management and Ethics & Independence Partner and member of the Executive Board of KPMG Switzerland.
