Adrian Huser has more than 12 years of experience working on both global and national audit engagements and various special projects with listed and non-listed companies such as banks and securities dealers. He gained experience on financial statement audits, regulatory audits and special engagements where he enhanced his knowledge on challenging accounting issues such as business combinations, valuation of intangibles and financial instruments and also emerging regulatory topics such as anti-money laundering, conduct risk, suitability, and consolidated supervision.
His tasks on engagements involved responsibility for the audit mandate, supervision of audit team members and coordination of international teams and specialists. Next to his client-facing role, he supports the regulatory audit methodology within KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice and acts as topic owner for anti-money laundering and compliance matters.
Before his time as auditor, he worked as Credit Officer at a Swiss regional bank and there, also supported ongoing projects.
