Martin has been involved with global mobility issues since the start of his professional career in 2001, when he joined the HR global mobility team of a major Swiss financial institution. Martin has joined KPMG’s Global Mobility Services (GMS) team in 2005 and has been working in Switzerland, Hong Kong and Australia.
He has specialized in the coordination of major client accounts, and in providing advice on employer obligations and practical aspects of managing a global mobility programme. Throughout his career with KPMG, Martin has served clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services, medical, natural resources, engineering and tobacco.
Through his own experience of being an assignee himself and due to his past as international HR professional, Martin can advise his clients competently on how to design HR processes and manage exposures which are connected to a globally mobile workforce. Martin has also been involved in outsourcing initiatives and can offer tailored solutions to clients which would like KPMG’s support for some of their administrative tasks to free up time for the client to focus on more strategic and value add tasks.
