Christian Ellis

Christian Ellis is Head of the US Standards group within KPMG Switzerland’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP).

As a specialist in US accounting and financial reporting requirements, Christian helps clients and engagement teams in solving complex audit and accounting issues under US GAAP, SOX internal controls and PCAOB standards. 

Christian joined KPMG in 2008, starting his career in the US prior to moving to Switzerland. A US Certified Public Accountant, Christian has experience with PCAOB and ISA audits of standalone and consolidated financial statements of large and medium-sized SEC Issuer and private companies. He also advises clients during transitions to US GAAP, with implementation of SOX internal controls, and in solving complex accounting issues.

During 2014 Christian was seconded to KPMG’s US Accounting and Reporting Group in London where he provided support for capital market transaction preparation and execution topics for European entities.
