Matthias Bachmann

Matthias Bachmann is a Partner in Audit.

As a Swiss Certified Accountant, Matthias specializes in the audit of industrial and consumer goods companies. Since joining KPMG in 2010 he has been serving listed companies and their subsidiaries with a focus on growth industries.

From 2017 to 2019, Matthias spent two years on assignment with KPMG Ireland in Dublin, where he was able to further deepen his industry expertise. He has in-depth knowledge of IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER and the Swiss Code of Obligations. Before joining KPMG, he worked in the finance department of a medium-sized company and is therefore personally familiar with the challenges clients can face. As an auditor and consultant, he has since supported clients on various special projects such as acquisitions, capital market transactions, reorganizations, business foundations, mergers and demergers.
