Carlos Alvarez

Carlos Alvarez is a Swiss certified public accountant who has been with KPMG for over 10 years. Assurance is his area of specialty and he serves both large global groups and domestic SMEs.

His primary focus is on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER or Swiss statutory requirements.

Carlos has spent many years working with companies in the ship industry (predominantly cruise ships) and the retail industry and is aware of the major issues, changes and challenges these industries face. Carlos also teaches professional judgment courses as a lecturer at EXPERTSuisse. He speaks French, English and Spanish.
