What is the recruitment process like?
We want the recruitment process to be a positive experience. Based on your application and resume, you will be invited to a first-round interview. The interview process usually involves two rounds, which include interviews with the recruiter and experts in the field and the chance to meet your future colleagues. Recruitment is a two-way street: we want to get to know you, but we also want you to get to know KPMG. If the role is a good fit, you will receive an offer – and your professional adventure at KPMG can begin.

"We want to get to know the real you and see how you would fit in with the team."

What are the top tips for a smooth interview?
1. Read, research, prepare. Be up to date on the latest developments in the tech consulting industry and find out what the media is saying about KPMG. Read our blog articles on KPMG Voice, and do not be afraid to do a little digging on your interviewer via LinkedIn.

2. Relax. We want you to enjoy your time with us. There is no need to put on an act – we want to meet the real you and see how you would fit in with the team. Think of the interview as a chance to get to know each other. We will discuss your skills and experience and take a closer look at specific topics that are relevant for the job.

How important is professional experience in the field?
For senior tech roles, experience is key. We are looking for specialists with insights and data and technology knowledge that junior staff can benefit from. We need in-depth expertise that will translate into tangible results for KPMG and its clients. For graduates, experience is a plus, but it is not the only factor we consider. Curiosity about the latest technology trends and a passion for continually improving your technical and soft skills are much more important.

What development opportunities does KPMG offer?
Personal and professional development is what drives KPMG. We offer our team members every opportunity to develop the skills they need to succeed. This includes on-the-job coaching and access to state-of-the-art online and face-to-face training on business-relevant topics. Think of us as a learning and career platform. Dare to join us, and we’ll empower you to reach your full potential.
