Our values define how we work together with our clients, people and communities.

At KPMG, we have a great deal to be proud of; we also have a lot to live up to. It begins with an unwavering commitment to quality and integrity. This commitment is fundamental to our ability to meet our responsibilities toward our clients, people, communities, and the capital markets. We continuously strive to uphold our integrity and ensure the high standards set by our Code of Conduct.

Inspiring confidence, empowering change.

Whether we are addressing complex business challenges or focusing on driving lifelong learning in our communities, the people of KPMG share the same common goal: to make a difference today while making the world of tomorrow a better place for future generations.

Values & Culture

Everything we do is underpinned by a shared set of values that define how we work together, with our clients, with people and with communities – globally. We set ourselves the challenge of combining deep expertise and outstanding commitment with broad social competence. We consistently embrace an open, honest approach to our work and make every effort to ensure that we always consider what our results mean to our clients and other stakeholders.

  • Integrity: We do what is right.
  • Excellence: We never stop learning and improving.
  • Courage: We think and act boldly.
  • Together: We respect each other and draw strength from our differences.
  • For better: We do what matters.

Maintaining our independence is fundamental to the quality of each and every service we provide. When it comes to audit, we acknowledge the great responsibility we bear. Not only towards our clients, but also towards the wider public. Reliable financial information is essential for the smooth running of the capital markets and the economy at large. The assurance we provide as auditors plays a vital role in building confidence.

The profession as a whole has been facing significant criticism in recent years. The Swiss member firm is highly committed to the important quality initiatives our global firm is undertaking in response to the current challenges. We are working closely with regulators, businesses, investors and other key stakeholders in order to understand their evolving needs and enable KPMG to meet up to their changing expectations.

The Swiss firm and KPMG professionals are required to comply with independence standards that meet or exceed those set out in the IESBA Code of Ethics, the independence rules of EXPERTsuisse and swiss law, as well as other regulatory bodies such as the FAOA or FINMA.

Equal Opportunity & Fair Compensation

At KPMG we are committed to fostering a future of equal opportunities for all. In doing so, we create an inclusive culture that fosters collaboration and empowers everyone at KPMG to be themselves at work.

KPMG has been awarded “Fair Compensation” certificate by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS). It confirms that KPMG applies the principle of equal pay for men and women.
