Acquisition bolsters KPMG’s Enterprise presence in Quebec
KPMG in Canada is pleased to announce it has acquired PWGL Inc., a leading enterprise audit practice in Montreal.
"We are thrilled to welcome PWGL to the KPMG family," says Benoit Lacoste Bienvenue, Regional Managing Partner, KPMG in Canada. "Our organizations share a common vision to provide clients with the insights, tools and solutions to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment. PWGL's business focus and strong team will add to KPMG's existing Quebec practice and enable us to provide more comprehensive service for our enterprise clients."
With the acquisition, PWGL partners Dov Wolman, Jean-Paul Peries, William Grzywacz and Mark Strohl have joined KPMG. PWGL's employees will continue to operate out of their existing offices on Rue Ferrier in Mount Royal.
"We are excited to be part of a truly global organization in KPMG – but also one that shares our values and commitment to enterprise clients," says Wolman. "We will continue to provide our existing clients a personalized service that is dedicated to helping them address the challenges and opportunities they face every day. By joining the KPMG family, they gain access to the global firm's vast experience in audit, tax, and advisory. We're excited by the next step in our evolution and our expanded ability to deliver for our clients."
"The addition of a new KPMG office in Mount Royal creates a unique opportunity for our people to benefit from the structure, support, training that comes from being part of a Big 4 firm while at the same time working in the more intimate culture of a medium-sized firm," adds Lacoste.
