Timothy D. Prince

Partner, Operations M&A, KPMG in Canada

Tim Prince leads the largest separation and integration practice in Canada – a team of over 15 people and growing. Tim oversees four specialist service lines which include, operations due diligence, integration and separation, technology M&A and value creation. He has conducted extensive research into mergers and acquisitions and his work has been published in various notable publications, including the Financial Times. Tim has worked on over 200 enterprise-wide separations and integrations over the last 20 years.

Gary Turner

Partner, Operations M&A, KPMG in Canada

Gary Turner is a partner within KPMG in Canada's Deal Advisory practice, specializing in the operational aspects of transactions. He brings deep functional experience to supply chain, procurement, back office rationalization and cost out. Gary provides hands on advice, guidance and execution to both corporate and private equity clients in all aspects across the deal spectrum. Gary is known for helping clients find and keep tangible value for businesses they are buying, selling or integrating.

Suki Johal

Partner, Operations M&A, KPMG in Canada

Suki is a Partner in KPMG in Canada's Ops M&A practice with a focus on the operational aspects of transactions and performance improvement. She has led over 70 transactions and specializes in leading large, complex multinational and cross border transactions.

She provides advice and guidance to both corporate and private equity clients across the deal spectrum and has a proven track record of helping organizations find, keep, deliver and maximize deal value across the transaction life cycle.

Sarkis Harmandayan

Partner, Operations M&A, KPMG in Canada

Sarkis is a Partner in KPMG's Operations M&A group, with over 17 years of experience in integration and separations. He has successfully managed and led large-scale M&A programs globally, solving complex integration and separation issues for our clients. He brings a significant amount of operational experience combined with a proven track record in developing multi-disciplinary solutions for corporate and private equity clients. Many of his engagements over the years have included working closely with management consulting, IT advisory, people and change, and transaction services colleagues.

Bruno Atristain

Bruno is a Director in KPMG’s Operations M&A practice, leading the operational due diligence services in Canada. He specializes in carve-out assessment, synergy case analysis, cost savings review, and operational upside assessment during the due diligence process. He has supported various large companies, major pension funds and leading private equities within the logistics, CPG, energy, retail, manufacturing and IT services/solutions industries with determining standalone costs, assessing synergies, validating cost savings and upside assessments on proposed acquisitions.

Shant Yeremian

Partner, Operations M&A, KPMG in Canada

Shant leads the Technology M&A group within Deal Advisory, focusing on the financial, commercial and operational impact of Technology within M&A transactions, including buy/sell side M&A, IPO’s, Carve-outs and Integrations.

Shant has over 18 years of global experience as a Tech-focused M&A Advisor, Technology Consultant, Investment Banker, and Principal Investor, and understands technology deal issues from a broad perspective.  He has advised on technology aspects of over 200 deals to some of the largest Private Equity firms and Corporates, across pre-deal Vendor advisory for Technology M&A, Buy and Sell side Technology/IT due diligence, Technology Synergy development, and Technology carve-outs and integrations. Shant has published research on buyer demand in the technology services sector, as well as articles on the importance of Technology in M&A in Financier Worldwide Magazine.

Wouter van Rootselaar is a Director within KPMG’s Operations M&A practice. He is an experienced integration leader with over 10 years of professional services experience, managing complex M&A projects across the world in Canada, the UK and Switzerland. His key focus has been on delivering value for clients by designing and implementing the post transaction operating model.
