Canadian companies that conduct business internationally should consider the effect of potential changes that could significantly impact international taxation. As part of its ongoing work to address tax challenges arising from the digital economy, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has released a new consultation paper on its proposals to ensure that profits of internationally operating businesses are subject to a minimum rate of tax.
