In this age of digital transformation, protecting privacy and security have become top of mind. On 25 May 2018, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect, impacting organizations worldwide that have any dealings with consumers and businesses in European Union (EU) member states.

Therefore it is critical for Canadian organizations doing business in the EU to gain a deeper understanding of how the free flow of personal information must be maintained. To that end, these companies need to have an adequate privacy ecosystem in operation which is aligned to the requirements of the GDPR.
