Greg Wiebe

Vice Chair Digital and Senior Tax Partner

KPMG in Canada

Greg Wiebe currently chairs KPMG Canada's Digital efforts, and has served numerous senior roles within KPMG Canada and KPMG International over his 35+ year career. Greg was KPMG's Global Head of Tax for 5 years and served as a member of the Global Executive Team, the principal management body of KPMG International, and just recently stepped down as Canadian Managing Partner for Tax, a position he first acquired in 2007. He has also lead KPMG's tax practices in Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg. In addition, Greg was previously the Regional Managing Partner for KPMG's Greater Vancouver offices and our Region's practice (with 33 locations at that time) and was the National Leader for KPMG's Enterprise practice, dedicated to serving private companies. 

Greg has presented many times at tax conferences and summits around the world, bringing a global perspective to the tax issues of the day. He continues to be active with a number of KPMG's largest clients.

Committed to influencing tax policy and furthering education, Greg has sat on a number of boards in support of these objectives, including the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Tax Policy Committee. He has offered his support and guidance to the University of British Columbia’s Saunder School of Business, The Vancouver Board of Trade, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Business Council of British Columbia, and Rotary International. 

The Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario have recognized Greg with a Fellowship.
