Beth is a partner in the Department of Professional Practice at KPMG in Canada. Beth has significant experience providing technical advice to companies operating in a variety of industries on accounting and financial reporting matters, providing training, and guidance in the application of IFRS. She is the Canadian Business Combinations and Consolidations Technical Topic Team lead and is a member of KPMG’s Global Business Combinations and Consolidations Technical Topic Team. Beth works with professionals around the globe analyzing and interpreting evolving transactions under the existing standards, and evaluating the implications of new potential guidance for Business Combinations under Common Control. Beth is also a member of KPMG’s Income Taxes Topic Team and is part of the Canadian firm’s initiatives on the application of IFRS to carve-out/combined financial statements.

Beth started her career with KPMG in Canada in the Audit Practice working at the Vancouver office and then she moved to KPMG in Australia at their Melbourne office, where she focused on the renewable energy and technology sectors. She also worked with our International Standards Group (ISG) in London, UK, where she worked with our technical experts developing publications on emerging issues and accounting guidance, including KPMG’s Global publication on Insights into IFRS.
