Yaman articled with KPMG Law LLP’s Business Law group and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. Yaman’s practice focuses on business law, with a particular emphasis on private company mergers and acquisitions.
Yaman has worked with founders in setting up and organizing new business ventures, as well as with established companies in connection with internal corporate reorganizations. Yaman has worked on numerous private company transactions, including acquisitions and divestures, corporate restructurings, financings, and the drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of general commercial contracts.

Yaman has volunteered with Pro-Bono Students Canada. Yaman has worked on draft and proposed legislation, policy reviews and has researched complex memoranda on fundamental freedoms, police powers, national security, equality and civil liberties.
Yaman is the founder and chairman of the Syrian Association of Ottawa, a not-for-profit corporation. Through the Syrian Association of Ottawa, Yaman worked tirelessly and extensively with Syrian refugees in order to assist in their integration into Canada.
