Scott MacLennan is an Executive Director in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice. His background includes IT control assessment, architecture, security, audit, and risk reviews. Scott brings 25 years of IT experience and 17 years of security and risk related practices with him. Scott leads the Technology Risk Consulting and Cyber Security practices for Manitoba. As auditor, advisor and facilitator, Scott has deep experience providing Cyber and IT assessments for a variety of entities including Federal and Provincial Crown Corporations, private and public organizations, credit unions and not-for-profits.

Scott’s main focus is helping clients to understand Cyber Security and other IT risks in the business context. He works with the IT and business functions to prioritize, fund, and manage initiatives that reduce IT risks to an acceptable level.

For over 10 years, Scott volunteered his time as a Program Director on the Board of Directors for ISACA, a local IT Audit and Cyber Security not-for-profit professional association. Scott continues to be an engaged member of ISACA and the IIA, and is a frequent presenter for both organizations in Winnipeg.
