Michael joined KPMG in 2015 after serving 30 years as a senior officer with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Federal Public Service. His specialization is Strategy and Operations for Defence and Public Security. Since joining the Ottawa federal government team, Michael has contributed to numerous federal government, large-scale initiatives specializing in Defence and Security program governance, enterprise business transformation, information management and architecture, change management, organizational design, and performance management.
Michael has focused specifically on evolving and developing KPMG advisory methods, tools and team to meet the unique requirements and scale necessary to successfully compete in the federal government market. With the focus on developing a sustainable federal government practice recognized for delivery assurance and integrity, Michael has played a key role in the KPMG Global effort to develop “Connected Enterprise” as our primary enabling framework for digital transformation. Michael had led this effort in Ottawa, which has resulted in strategic delivery initiatives that are recognized as leading practice.
