Ms. Michaud is a partner at the Montréal office of KPMG Law LLP.
Her practice focuses on litigation. Ms. Michaud is also responsible for all the tax planning of several companies.
Prior to joining KPMG Law LLP, Marie-Josée worked in litigation for over 4 years. She has joined the tax practice of KPMG in 2008.
Developed business process flow diagrams and functional/ technical requirements for a major state government entity to assist in their procurement of a premium billing, customer enrollment, and financial management system.
Served as project manager for the implementation of a billing and financial management system for a multiple commodity Italian power company (electricity, gas, water, and ancillary services). Primary responsibilities included building, testing and configuring the system functions, financial transactions, and cancel processes for his company’s first Italian client.
Ms. Michaud acted as speaker at the 2015 tax seminar of the Tax Executives Institutes, Inc., at the 2015 SR & ED Symposium of the Association de planification fiscale et financière as well as at the technical seminar “L’administration fiscale” of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
