Amanda Marshall is a Partner in KPMG’s M&A tax practice in Toronto. She supports her clients in all aspects of the transaction process, including assessing risk in tax due diligence, determining the optimal transaction structure, modelling tax implications of structuring alternatives and future cash flows, and providing post-transaction tax advisory support to portfolio companies. Her clients include infrastructure funds, private equity funds, pension plans and pension investment boards.
Amanda specializes in providing advice on Canadian infrastructure transactions. She leverages her deep understanding of resource and limited partnership taxation to assist clients structure infrastructure transactions and accurately model their after-tax cash flows. Amanda also has extensive experience working with mid-market private equity funds to successfully acquire, grow and sell Canadian companies, advising the clients and portfolio entities through the hold period.
Amanda is the chair of the board of directors of Pink Pearl Canada, a registered charity dedicated to young women facing cancer.
