Greg R Lawrie

Greg is a partner in the KPMG Canada’s Department of Professional Practice. In addition, Greg also leads our Inspections Group and has been instrumental in developing and implementing a number of audit quality initiatives.   

In his role, Greg, deals with regulatory matters relating to both CPAB and the PCAOB. This includes the interpretation and effective implementation of assurance standards and the development of tools, guidance and training.

Greg is also the audit partner on large SEC and Canadian public clients in the financial services industry and works closely with his clients on accounting, audit, securities and business matters. He has also spent three years in the Department of Professional Practice in our New York Office and two years in our audit practice in the United Kingdom.  Greg is involved in several Securities engagements and serves as a Quality Review Partner on engagements.
