Benita has been instrumental in developing the Global Mobility Services practice (formerly, International Executive Services) for KPMG Canada. In her nearly 30 years with the firm, she has focused on tax planning and compliance issues for estates, trusts and individuals in a US and cross-border context. She advises clients on tax matters related to compensation, estate planning and investments, with particular emphasis on executives relocating to other countries and the complex tax issues arising. Benita has published, spoken and taught extensively on multiple aspects of personal tax, specializing in US estate planning, expatriation planning and investment in US real estate.
