Michael is the Chief Economist for KPMG Canada’s Global Transfer Pricing Services. Since 2000, Michael has worked in both Canada and the United States helping clients navigate the complex and challenging world of transfer pricing in a continually changing global tax environment. Michael brings to his clients a depth of technical yet practical expertise from planning to compliance to dispute resolution across a range of industries including oil and gas, mining, technology, services and consumer products. From 2005 through 2016, Michael was the Transfer Pricing Leader for the Calgary practice. Michael was named as an Expert Transfer Pricing Advisor in the bi-annual 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 Guide to the World’s Leading Transfer Pricing Advisors published by Euromoney Legal Media.
