Michael is a Partner and leader of KPMG’s Vancouver Transfer Pricing Group. He is also the Firm’s former Transfer Pricing service line leader for Canada. Prior to working in transfer pricing, Michael assisted clients with customs and international trade matters and general corporate tax. Michael has extensive experience in transfer pricing planning and compliance engagements, and has assisted many clients with audit defense, Appeals, Competent Authority and Advance Pricing Arrangements. Michael’s industry-specific transfer pricing experience includes life sciences, high technology, software, mining as well as various financial and professional services businesses. He has also been actively involved in monitoring and advising clients with regard to the OECD’s work in relation to Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS).
