With over 15 years of experience, Alex is a Partner at KPMG in Canada’s GTA Tax Practice. Alex is known for his insights in comprehensive tax services to life and P&C insurers including due diligence, structure planning, compliance, provision, audit, and technical advice. Alex has experience in finance, audit, and operations positions both at KPMG and in industry.

Alex has presented complex tax technical topics to various insurance industry associations. He is a regular presenter at the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association’s Tax Directors conference and has acted as advisor to the Tax Panel of the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Alex has completed a secondment in KPMG’s National Tax group during which time he contributed to the writing of over 100 articles in KPMG’s internal and external newsletters covering a wide range of technical topics.
