Pieter is a Partner in KPMG’s mining practice and has specialized in the industry for over 13 years. He has significant international experience leading audits of Canadian and US public mining companies at all stages in the mining life cycle.

In addition to precious and base metals companies, Pieter specializes in the growing industry of royalty and metal stream financing.

Pieter specializes on accounting matters facing mining companies and leads accounting advisory engagements where he advises public mining companies on complex technical and accounting adoptions issues.
