Chris leads KPMG’s Asset Management Sector in Management Consulting. He brings over 20 years of experience serving clients and leading high performing teams in Asset and Wealth Management in the UK, Europe and Canada. He is a recognized thought leader, consistently publishing primary research and invited to speak at industry events.
Chris specializes in helping his clients define strategy and manage change across the front, middle and back office. The drivers of change vary, but include business growth, new products, geographies and markets, M&A, both product level and business costs and margin improvement, efficiency, distribution, operational and technological change, risk and regulatory.
He serves a variety of clients including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, both traditional and alternative manufacturers (including hedge funds, private equity real estate and infrastructure), wealth managers and asset servicers (fund administrators, prime brokers and custodians).
He brings a pragmatic and highly client centric problem solving approach aided by his industry experience in front office roles.
Sample areas of specialization include:
- Planning, strategy, design - target operating model, cost and margin analysis, new business establishment, new clients, products and markets analysis
- Business reviews and gap analysis to address risks and/or improve efficiency
- Implementation, project management and execution of change in sales and distribution functions, CRM systems, operations, risk, technology, regulation and third party relationships
- Building and managing RegTech outsourced managed services providing global investor and regulatory reporting.
